Here at Last!

We left very early yesterday morning, about 7am and arrived here at the West End of the Grand Bahama Island abut 11:30am. The ride was rougher than we had anticipated. The waves were in the 4 – 6 range, mostly choppy but as we got about half way across the chop became more like big swells. Poor Misty did not like it at all! She stayed hungered down on the settee with a pillow on her head.
We cleared customs and are now flying the Bahamian flag as required. Today we are going to head out further east to the Great Sale Cay and anchor out. We are both getting a little tired of moving around and are looking forward to some ‘down’ time.

We are glad to know that you have arrived. Mom called to let us know that you were on the other side, but that it had been a prety rough ride. Take care! RAY

"Downtime"???? You got spoiled on Amelie Island. And I agree with Dennis--we want pictures.

I saw an article today that the FDA has approved a drug for dogs with carsickness, I wonder if it would work for seasickness?

Glad you made it, look forward to your adventures in the Bahamas. Now you can rename your boat from "Not-red-e-tug-o" back to its original name. However, you are still charter "Turtles" as your time to the Bahamas confirms, and if we had it to give, you would qualify for the 2007 award of the "vibrating stress turtle."
Best regards from all the other CY Turtles. BJ and Judy
